Mayor Henry Recovering from Knee Replacement Surgery

CARBONDALE – Carbondale Mayor John “Mike” Henry is recovering at home after having knee replacement surgery.


Mayor Henry is doing well and expected to make a full recovery.


As Mayor Henry begins physical therapy, he asks the community to respect his privacy during his recovery.

Carbondale Mayor John “Mike” Henry will be out of the office for the next three weeks on a scheduled absence. 


Mayor Pro-Tem Carolin Harvey will take over mayoral duties during Mayor Henry’s absence.


“I have every confidence in Ms. Harvey’s abilities and know that the Mayor’s Office is in good hands,” said Mayor Henry.
