For a new resident the hardest part of moving can be just knowing who to call to get basic services. If you are a new resident, or plan to be, we hope this list of service providers will make your move easier. Not all of these services will apply to residents moving out of the city limits border.

Water & Sewer Service Request Form

You may apply for Water and Sewer Service from the City of Carbondale by the following ways:

1. Fax: - Go to "water/sewer/refuse service connect form"
2. By Mail: - Go to "water/sewer/refuse service connect form"
   NOTE:  If you are going to mail your service connect form please allow 2 weeks, for your service request to be received and processed by thye City's Water Office.
3. In person: - Water Office is located in the City Hall/Civic Center building located at 200 South Illinois Avenue in Carbondale, Illinois.
   Hours of Operation are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
